Introduction The audience will leave this session with an understanding of: what a sustainability report is; the variations on standards that are in use by organizations who do report; the content of a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) recommended report; and, some of the reasons that organizations chose to create and publish these reports. This includes what it takes to create a reporting system, which allows the firm to publish and engage stakeholders in the significant results. Advanced The audience will leave this session with an understanding of: reasons for producing a sustainability report; how the report content is assembled and presented; where the information comes from and how to get it; how to maintain momentum on this project; publishing the report to stakeholders; and, what pitfalls can be expected and how to avoid them. Report Development The audience is usually just one company or team, brought to your site, but can also include a few companies with common reporting goals.
